The Sandiganbayan, the Philippines’ anti-graft court, dismissed the remaining asset claims in a civil forfeiture case involving the heirs of former president Ferdinand Marcos, according to Philippine media reports on June 6, 2026.

The ruling removed the remaining claims sought in the government’s effort to recover assets alleged to have been unlawfully obtained, bringing to a close litigation that had been pending for more than three decades.

Media reports said the Philippine government had previously obtained four partial summary judgments in the same case, which ordered the forfeiture of $658 million in Swiss deposits.
